Fleischlin/ Hellenkemper – DAS SEX STÜCK

It’s time to dispel the myth of the hymen! What does consensus have in common with an invitation to coffee? Can we soon leave behind the division into “men” and “women”?

DAS SEX STÜCK talks about sex. Layers of taboos are wiped away, desires are laid bare and outdated myths are cleared out of the way. There are wicked and beguiling lyrics, brilliant costumes, lusty scuffles and songs never heard before. There will be crying, laughing and dancing. Come on in, it’s going to be fantastic!
At its core, Switzerland is a work-conscious, purpose-driven nation based on Christian values. Talking about sex is taboo. Bad conditions for having lustful, emancipated sex. That is depressing! At the same time, sex is omnipresent, everywhere we look there is something with sex. Social media is flooded with images of girls and bodies and promises, we are turned on and seduced into consumption. Our sexuality makes us vulnerable, attackable, and we find ourselves with our bodies and our desires on a market that demands that we advertise ourselves, that we make ourselves a commodity – with characteristics, preferences, and preferences. What does that do to us? And how do we make it more beautiful?

Fleischlin/Hellenkemper and Kompliz:innen
Fleischlin/Hellenkemper and Kompliz:innen are a troupe of people between the ages of 20 and 60. They tour the country with their tent to perform their contemporary revue – Das Sex Stück. They combine social criticism with humor, enlightenment with entertainment, and with attentiveness and love they try to unhinge a system that reduces people, forces them into roles, and leaves scars.
