The anthology “Wir Hoch- und Landesverräter” documented antifascist resistance in Oberhausen in 1983. More than 30 years have passed since this edition, and most of the protagonists described are no longer alive. Among them was Else Jochem, a soap merchant who wrapped her goods in leaflets and brought them – driving around with her soap box – to the people. She later drove to concentration camps to pass chops through the fence of the detainees.

On the basis of the story of this woman and her small, continuous actions against the fascist regime, vorschlag:hammer seek to develop a theater work about antifascist resistance.
