Treibstoff Theatertage Basel

Treibstoff is an association of the Kaserne Basel, the ROXY Birsfelden and the junges theater basel for the promotion of young professional German-speaking theatre artists. In the course of a public call for proposals, a selection committee of several members decides which of the submitted project ideas will be co-produced by Treibstoff and premiered as part of a biennial festival. Treibstoff is both a public festival and a diffusion platform. For the 2023 edition, 4 new plays will be produced. For the first time, there will also be a guest performance by former Treibstoff participants and a final production from a Swiss art school.
