Corinne Maier – THE ONLY REAL FUCKING IS DONE ON PAPER

What happens when a young man and a young woman talk about sex? The literary scholar Klaus Birnstiel, who lives with a nonspecific muscular dystrophy that minimizes the development of muscle tissue, and the performer Katharina Bill approach the fleeting phenomenon of physical presence. To do this, they are concerned with disabled and non-disabled sexualities and are looking for a language for something that just wants to escape it.

The lavaring and slowly approaching a personally sensitive subject gives way to a more and more direct exchange of experiences and ideas. Porn and commercial love will not be a taboo here.
Birnstiel and Bill use this on a theoretical level with Judith Butler and Martin Heidegger. Maier had already dealt with Heidegger in her first lecture performance «Heidegger’s Auf-Bühne-sein».
Now, Corinne Maier has partnered with Klaus Birnstiel and Katharina Bill to get two partners on board to tackle the issue of sexuality together.

The lecture performance becomes a performative talk in the right ambience: a motel room.
